Deputy Finance Manager – Truro – circa £26,000
Trial Balance Consulting have been exclusively engaged by a prominent local charity to source a Deputy Finance Manager to join them on a full time, permanent basis. This role is predominantly office based, however the client has indicated that some remote working would be possible on an ad hoc basis.
Reporting into their Finance Director this pivotal role will play an integral part in the organisations continued success. My client is keen to see candidates who possess recent experience gained within the not for profit sector, however due consideration will also be given to candidates from the private sector who are keen to work for a charity.
In addition to overseeing the daily accounting lifecycle the successful candidate will be responsible for the company’s payroll function, therefore end-end payroll experience is a MUST. Additional responsibilities will include:
- Maintenance of sales, purchase and nominal ledgers
- Posting of journals
- Supervision of a small accounts team
- Production of accounts to trial balance
- Aged debtor management
- Bank reconciliations
- Credit card reconciliations
- Assisting in the preparation of month end and year end accounts
