Trial Balance Consulting have been exclusively assigned by our long-term client, one of Cornwall’s most innovative and successful bespoke construction operations. Their products and services are in high demand throughout the Southwest and beyond, and their continued growth has resulted in a brand-new opportunity for a junior document controller to join their busy team. This is a full time and permanent position based on the outskirts of Truro, with parking. 

The role reports into a senior document controller and works very closely with the company’s design and senior management team. This level of support and company growth make this a fantastic opportunity for candidate looking to develop a long-term career in construction based technical document control. 

The successful candidate will support the design planner with their projects, liaising closely with clients. The role will entail a high degree of organisational skills to ensure that project records and carefully monitored, managed and recorded. Excellent IT skills will be required as the junior document controller will take key responsibility for a very busy email traffic system and will need to be highly competent in the company’s bespoke IT systems. 

What we’re looking for: We’re hoping to work with candidates that have prior experience gained in the construction industry, ideally within a document control capacity or with a good understanding of the remit. Possessing great communication, accuracy and self-motivation skills are absolutely pivotal to this varied position where no two days are likely to be the same.
