Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk - Indian Queens - Circa £30,000 FTE 

Trial Balance are delighted to be working with a highly successful and well-established business, to recruit an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk. The role will provide additional support to their finance team over an initial period of approximately four weeks. The immediate priority will be helping to clear a backlog of invoices and to get the purchase ledger back up-to-date. 

Working closely with the existing finance team, you will play an important role in keeping the purchase ledger running smoothly. Duties will include matching, batching and coding supplier invoices, processing invoices accurately and efficiently, reconciling supplier statements, and dealing with supplier queries to ensure any outstanding issues are resolved promptly.

We’re looking for someone with previous purchase ledger or accounts payable experience who can hit the ground running, manage their workload independently and work methodically through a backlog. Good attention to detail, a pro-active approach and the confidence to communicate effectively with suppliers and colleagues will be essential.
