Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk - Nr Newquay - £27,000 FTE

Trial Balance Consulting have been exclusively assigned by a repeat client, a well-established service provider based near Newquay, to assist with the recruitment of a Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk for a 6-month assignment.

Working as part of a friendly and supportive finance team, and reporting to the AP Manager, the successful candidate will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the purchase ledger function. Key duties will include matching, batching and coding supplier invoices, processing payment runs, reconciling supplier statements, and resolving supplier queries efficiently.

The role would suit either an up-and-coming finance professional with a solid understanding of accounts payable processes, or an experienced purchase ledger specialist seeking an interim opportunity. Applicants should possess excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and confident communication abilities, as the role will involve regular liaison with suppliers and colleagues across the wider business.
