Joining a very high calibre tax team as a Tax Assistant, your duties in this role will include the following:

• Completing personal tax returns
• Completing CGT returns
• Being a team player and supporting each other with queries, and other staff
• members with queries
• Dealing with client post, ensuring letters are checked and clients are updated.
• Trust tax returns and annual declarations
• Share transfers/reclassification.
• Tax calculations
• Overpayment relief claims
• Communicating with clients, ensuring their requests are fulfilled, i.e. SA302/Tax year
• overview requests, repayment chasing

This role would suit an active ATT studier, or alternatively a candidate with significant tax experience gained in a practice environment. Previous experience in a similar role is essential due to the technical demands of the role, and you will also need to be able to demonstrate excellent client-facing skills.
