Cloud Accounting Senior

I’m working with a very well-respected firm of Accountants, who are looking to strengthen their cloud accounting team to further support their growing client portfolio.

Your duties in this interesting role will include:

• Implementing system solutions to new and existing clients and support that implementation by delivering training and on-boarding activities.
• Diagnosing and implementing the rectification of system deficiencies and providing recommendations on efficiency improvements ensuring tax and accounting compliance.
• Dealing with the completion of annual accounts and tax computations for both incorporated and unincorporated business with a turnover of up to £10m.
• Production of management accounts.
• Ensuring accounting records for clients are maintained and kept up to date.
• Dealing with the completion of quarterly VAT returns and other monthly filings such as CIS returns.
• Drafting correspondence for clients, liaising with HMRC, by telephone and email.
• Provision of remote and in-house support to the firm’s clients and internal staff
• Delivering internal training and communicating developments in the cloud accounting sector.

To be a success in this role, you should be able to demonstrate the following attributes:

• At least 2 years’ experience in an accountancy practice environment
• AAT qualified (or qualified by experience) and potentially studying for a further related professional qualification e.g. ACCA/ACA
• Experience in accounts preparation for partnerships/LLPs and limited companies
• Experience of preparing management accounts and cashflow projections
