Tax Senior / Manager

My client is looking to recruit an experienced tax professional with strong practice experience to join a busy team, focusing on both compliance and advisory work for limited companies, businesses and individuals.

Your duties on the limited company side will include:

·       Review of initial corporation tax checks, prepared by fellow team members.

·       Preparation of corporation tax computations for limited companies

·       Advising companies on tax planning initiatives

·       Reviewing management accounts and providing pro-active tax advice as appropriate

·       Advising on the tax implications of group structures

·       Preparing R&D tax credit claims

·       Reviewing the tax implications of business disposals

·       Advising clients on other tax matters such as employment related securities legislation and ATED returns

·       Managing the administration of statutory deadlines and payments

And on the personal tax side, your responsibilities will include:

·       Reviewing personal tax returns drafted by fellow team members

·       Preparing the more complex personal tax returns

·       Advising on payments on accounts and reviewing these, in light of business results, ahead of payments being due

·       Remuneration advice and recommendations

·       Managing the administration of statutory deadlines and payments

This role would suit an experienced tax professional with a proven background in an accountancy practice environment. A relevant tax or accounting qualification is essential, and you will be well versed in online accounting software.
