Assistant Management Accountant – Torrington - £30-£35,000 + study support

Trial Balance Consulting have been engaged by a long-standing, highly regarded manufacturing and engineering business based in Torrington. The business is currently experiencing a period of sustained growth and require an ambitious Assistant Management Accountant to join their team. The company promotes an incredibly friendly and modern working environment, and in addition to a competitive benefits package the role offers full study support for either ACCA or CIMA. This a permanent, full time position operating out of the company’s offices in Torrington.

This is a broad, interesting and challenging opportunity where the successful candidate will work to collate both analytical and management information to paint a detailed picture of the company’s financial performance. Key responsibilities to include: 

- Preparation of monthly management accounts, supporting schedules and figures

- Project analysis and costing

- Bank reconciliations

- Assist with all month end procedures to tight deadlines

- Responsible for company payroll

- Maintenance of aged debtor 

- Assist in preparing for annual audit
