Trial Balance are working with an accountancy practice in Bridgwater, looking to appoint an Accounts Senior to join their team. The position combines hands-on technical work with client interaction and a strong platform for future progression.

As Accounts Senior, your responsibilities will include:

- Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts for a portfolio of limited companies

- Producing corporation tax calculations and assisting with tax planning assignments

- Preparing management accounts and explaining key financial information to clients

- Reviewing work completed by junior colleagues and helping them develop their technical capabilities

- Working alongside Partners to deliver a consistent, high-quality service to clients across a range of sectors

The successful Accounts Senior will:

Ideally hold an ACA or ACCA qualification, although applicants who consider themselves to be qualified by experience will also be considered. Previous experience gained within an accountancy practice is essential.

You'll have confident accounts preparation skills, a practical and pro-active approach, and the ability to build effective working relationships with both clients and colleagues.
