Trial Balance are delighted to be working with an accountancy practice in St Austell, looking to recruit an Accounts Semi Senior to join its team. Offering exposure to a range of accounting and taxation assignments, this role would suit someone with existing practice experience who enjoys working with clients and wants to keep building their technical knowledge.

As Accounts Semi Senior, your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting in the preparation of year-end accounts and financial statements for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies

- Assisting with personal and corporate tax calculations and returns

- Preparing VAT returns and completing bookkeeping assignments

- Maintaining accurate accounting records and ensuring client information is kept up-to-date

- Liaising with clients to obtain information and respond to day-to-day accounting queries

- Supporting senior colleagues with a variety of accounts and tax assignments

- Working collaboratively with the wider team to ensure deadlines are met and work is completed to a high standard

The successful Accounts Semi Senior will:

Have previous experience working within an accountancy practice. AAT qualification or studies towards ACA or ACCA would be advantageous, although candidates who are qualified by experience will also be considered.

This Accounts Semi Senior role will be organised, pro-active and comfortable communicating with clients and colleagues, with strong attention to detail and a genuine interest in developing your skills.
