Tax Senior - Exeter - £35,000

Trial Balance is delighted to be working with a successful accountancy practice that is looking to recruit a Tax Senior to join its established tax team in Exeter. This is a varied role offering exposure to a broad range of personal tax work, alongside opportunities to support advisory assignments and develop specialist tax knowledge within a supportive and collaborative environment.

The role of Tax Senior will include:

- Managing a portfolio of tax clients and ensuring compliance obligations are completed accurately and on time

- Preparing tax returns for individuals, trusts and partnerships

- Assisting with tax planning and advisory projects

- Identifying and mitigating tax risks where appropriate

- Liaising with clients and colleagues on a range of tax matters

- Ensuring compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements and professional standards

- Providing administrative support to Partners, Directors and Managers as required

The successful Tax Senior will have:

Previous tax experience gained within an accountancy practice environment, with a strong grounding in tax compliance work. ATT qualified, part-qualified CTA candidates and those qualified by experience are all encouraged to apply. You'll possess strong technical tax knowledge, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage a varied workload whilst meeting deadlines.

As a Tax Senior, you'll be a confident communicator who enjoys building relationships with clients and colleagues. You'll be organised, adaptable and capable of working independently whilst contributing positively as part of a wider team.
