An established accountancy practice in Bournemouth is looking to recruit an Accounts Senior to join its successful team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced practice accountant to take on a varied role, with regular client interaction and exposure to a broad range of accounting and taxation work.

The role of Accounts Senior will include:

- Preparing and reviewing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies

- Preparing personal and corporate tax returns

- Completing and reviewing VAT returns

- Building strong client relationships and providing practical accounting and tax support

- Handling client queries and assisting with day-to-day accounting matters

- Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team

- Working closely with Managers and Partners to deliver a consistently high standard of service

The successful Accounts Senior will have previous experience gained within an accountancy practice environment and be confident managing accounts and tax assignments for a varied client base.

ACA or ACCA qualifications would be advantageous, although applications are welcomed from part-qualified accountants and candidates who are qualified by experience.

As an Accounts Senior, you'll be organised, detail-focused and comfortable managing competing deadlines. Strong communication skills and the ability to build lasting relationships with both clients and colleagues will be key to your success in the role.
