A leading and well-established accountancy practice with a strong presence across the region is seeking an Accounts Semi Senior to join its Exeter office. Working with a broad portfolio of clients, the successful Accounts Semi Senior will gain exposure to a mix of accounts, tax and bookkeeping assignments whilst continuing to develop their technical expertise within a supportive environment.

The role of Accounts Semi Senior will include:

- Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts and financial statements for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies

- Supporting the completion of personal and corporate tax returns

- Preparing VAT returns and undertaking bookkeeping assignments

- Assisting with the production of management accounts

- Liaising with clients to obtain information and resolve routine accounting queries

- Building positive working relationships with clients and colleagues

- Working closely with senior team members to ensure assignments are delivered accurately and on time

The successful Accounts Semi Senior will have:

Experience gained within an accountancy practice environment and a solid grounding in accounts preparation and tax compliance work.

AAT qualified, part-qualified ACA/ACCA candidates, or those currently studying towards a professional qualification, are all encouraged to apply. You'll be organised, detail-focused and capable of managing a varied workload whilst maintaining excellent client service standards.

As an Accounts Semi Senior, you'll enjoy working as part of a collaborative team and be keen to continue building your technical knowledge and practical experience.
