A successful accountancy practice is looking to recruit an Accounts Semi Senior to join its growing team in Penzance. The role of Accounts Semi Senior will include:

- Assisting in the year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies

- Assisting with the preparation of personal and corporate tax returns

- Completing VAT returns and bookkeeping assignments

- Developing strong relationships with clients and assisting with day-to-day accounting enquiries

- Supporting senior members of the team across a varied portfolio of businesses

- Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver work accurately and within agreed timescales

- Building technical knowledge through ongoing training and practical experience

About you

The successful Accounts Semi Senior will have previous experience working within an accountancy practice and be comfortable assisting with both accounts and tax assignments for a varied client base.

Part or fully qualified AAT candidates, as well as those studying towards ACA or ACCA, will be particularly well suited to this opportunity, although those qualified by experience will also be considered.

As an Accounts Semi Senior, you'll be organised, proactive and possess strong communication skills, enabling you to build effective relationships with both clients and colleagues. You'll also have a genuine desire to continue developing your technical expertise and progressing your accountancy practice career.
