This highly regarded accountancy practice is looking to recruit an Accounts Semi Senior to join its Torquay team. Offering a varied client portfolio, regular client contact and a supportive working environment, this is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build on their existing practice experience and take the next step in their career.

As Accounts Semi Senior, your responsibilities will include:

- Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies

- Assisting with the preparation of personal and corporate tax returns

- Completing VAT returns and bookkeeping assignments

- Building positive relationships with clients and assisting with day-to-day accounting queries

- Supporting senior members of the team across a varied portfolio of clients

- Working closely with colleagues to ensure assignments are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines

- Developing your technical knowledge through practical experience and ongoing training

The successful Accounts Semi Senior candidate will:

Have previous experience gained within an accountancy practice and be confident working across accounts and tax assignments for a varied client base.

Part or full AAT qualification or studies towards ACA or ACCA would be advantageous, although candidates who are qualified by experience will also be considered. You'll be organised, pro-active and comfortable communicating with both clients and colleagues, with a genuine interest in continuing to develop your accountancy practice career.
