A highly respected accountancy practice in Helston is looking to recruit an experienced Client Bookkeeper to join its team. This is a varied role offering regular client exposure, a broad range of bookkeeping responsibilities and plenty of opportunity for personal and professional development.

As Client Bookkeeper, your responsibilities will include:

- Completing day-to-day bookkeeping for a varied portfolio of clients

- Supporting the maintenance of accounts payable and accounts receivable records

- Completing regular bank reconciliations and ensuring financial records remain accurate and up to date

- Preparing VAT reports and supporting clients with their ongoing VAT requirements

- Assisting with wider accounting duties and ad-hoc tasks as required

- Working closely with clients and colleagues to ensure information is accurate and deadlines are met

The successful Client Bookkeeper will:

Have previous bookkeeping experience gained within an accountancy practice environment and be confident managing a varied workload across multiple clients.

You may be part or fully AAT qualified, or alternatively be qualified by experience. Strong communication skills will be essential, alongside the ability to build positive and professional relationships with both clients and colleagues.

You'll be organised, accurate and comfortable taking ownership of your work, whilst also enjoying being part of a successful and supportive team.
