They are now looking to recruit an experienced Audit & Accounts Senior to join their team. This is a varied role with an audit focus, alongside exposure to accounts and tax work, making it an excellent opportunity for an experienced accountant looking to continue developing within accountancy practice.

As Audit & Accounts Senior, your responsibilities will include:

- Planning external audit assignments, including budgeting and risk assessment

- Taking responsibility for completing whole audits across a varied client base

- Preparing year-end accounts and associated tax returns for a varied client portfolio

- Completing VAT returns and assisting with wider accounts and tax compliance work

- Reviewing accounts and tax returns where appropriate

- Building positive relationships with clients

- Supporting and developing more junior members of the team

The successful Audit & Accounts Senior will:

Ideally be part-ACA or part-ACCA qualified, with strong experience gained within an accountancy practice and proven experience delivering whole audit assignments.

You'll have strong technical knowledge, excellent attention to detail and the ability to take ownership of your workload. Strong communication skills will also be important, as you'll be dealing directly with clients as well as working closely with colleagues at all levels.

Just as importantly, you'll be someone who enjoys working as part of a close-knit team, is keen to develop professionally and is willing to contribute ideas and support those around you.
