This highly successful and well-regarded accountancy practice is looking to recruit a Bureau Payroll Administrator to join its friendly and collaborative Payroll team in Torquay. Working with a varied portfolio of clients, you'll take responsibility for processing payroll accurately and on time, whilst becoming a key point of contact and helping clients navigate their payroll requirements.

As Bureau Payroll Administrator, your responsibilities will include:

- Processing a varied portfolio of client payrolls accurately and within agreed deadlines

- Acting as a key point of contact for an allocated group of clients and responding to their payroll queries

- Setting up new client payrolls and ensuring all relevant information is accurate and complete

- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and make payroll delivery more efficient

- Building strong and professional relationships with clients, providing a responsive and reliable service

- Keeping up to date with changes in payroll legislation and ensuring these are applied correctly

- Liaising with HMRC regarding employer payments and payroll-related queries

- Working closely with colleagues across the wider Payroll team to ensure a consistently high standard of service

The successful Bureau Payroll Administrator will bring:

Previous payroll experience within a bureau or accountancy practice environment, together with a strong understanding of payroll processes and deadlines.

You'll be organised, accurate and comfortable managing your own workload, whilst also enjoying regular client contact. Strong communication skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach will all be important in this role.

You'll also have the ability to adapt to different client requirements and take ownership of queries through to resolution.
