Trial Balance are delighted to be working with a highly regarded accountancy practice in St Austell to recruit an experienced Senior Manager. This is a full-time, permanent position offering flexible working, a competitive salary, bonus scheme and an excellent benefits package.

As Senior Manager, you'll have a key role within the practice, managing a varied client portfolio, supporting the Partners and providing leadership to a small and experienced team.

Your responsibilities as Senior Manager will include:

- Managing a diverse portfolio of clients and acting as a senior point of contact

- Planning, supervising and reviewing assignments through to completion

- Overseeing statutory accounts, tax returns and wider compliance work

- Leading client projects and providing practical commercial advice

- Managing, mentoring and developing members of the team

- Working alongside the Partners on business development and identifying opportunities for growth

- Maintaining high standards of quality, service and delivery across all assignments

The successful Senior Manager will:

Be ACA or ACCA qualified with substantial experience gained within an accountancy practice environment. You'll have strong technical knowledge across accounts and taxation, together with previous experience managing clients and leading or developing a team.

You'll also be a confident communicator with the ability to build lasting client relationships, manage competing priorities and contribute positively to the continued success of the wider practice.
