A leading accountancy practice in Bournemouth is looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Senior to join its successful and supportive team. Offering a varied client portfolio, on-going professional development and genuine opportunities for progression, this is an excellent opportunity for an accountancy practice accountant looking for their next challenge.

As Accounts Senior, your responsibilities will include:

- Preparing and reviewing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies

- Preparing personal and corporate tax returns

- Completing and reviewing VAT returns

- Developing strong client relationships and providing practical accounting and taxation support

- Responding to client queries and dealing with day-to-day accounting matters

- Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team

- Working closely with Managers and Partners to ensure work is completed accurately and to a consistently high standard

The successful Accounts Senior candidate will:

Have previous experience gained within an accountancy practice and be confident across accounts preparation and taxation for a varied client portfolio.

ACA or ACCA qualifications would be advantageous, although applications are welcomed from part-qualified accountants and candidates who are qualified by experience. You'll be a confident communicator with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities within a busy practice environment.
