A successful and growing accountancy practice in Wellington is looking to recruit an Accounts Semi Senior to join its friendly and collaborative team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a varied portfolio of clients, broaden your technical experience and build strong long-term client relationships.

Key responsibilities of this Accounts Semi Senior position will include:

-Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies

-Assisting with personal and corporate tax returns

-Completing VAT returns and bookkeeping assignments where required

-Building positive relationships with clients and providing practical support with their day-to-day accounting requirements

-Working closely with senior colleagues to ensure assignments are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines

The successful Accounts Semi Senior candidate will:

Have previous experience working within an accountancy practice and be looking to build on that experience as they progress their career.

AAT qualifications would be advantageous, although candidates who are qualified by experience will also be considered. You'll be organised, pro-active and confident communicating with clients and colleagues, with a genuine commitment to delivering a high standard of work.
