Accounts Technician - Swindon - £28,000 - £35,000

This well-respected and successful accountancy practice in Swindon are looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Technician to join their team. This is a varied position working with a portfolio of small and medium-sized businesses, where you'll take responsibility for accounts preparation whilst becoming a trusted point of contact for your clients.

As Accounts Technician, your responsibilities will include:

- Preparing statutory accounts for a varied portfolio of limited companies, including more complex sets of accounts

- Acting as a key point of contact for an allocated portfolio of clients, developing a strong understanding of their businesses

- Preparing and reviewing VAT returns

- Assisting with the preparation of personal and income tax returns where required

- Working closely with colleagues as the practice continues to improve and grow

The successful Accounts Technician will bring:

Several years' experience within accountancy practice, preparing accounts for small businesses, together with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

You'll be comfortable dealing directly with clients and enjoy building professional relationships with people from a variety of businesses. Just as importantly, you'll be enthusiastic, willing to learn and happy to contribute as part of a close-knit team.
