This well-established and highly regarded accountancy practice is looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Senior to join its Torquay team. Offering a varied client portfolio, strong client relationships and a supportive working environment, this is an excellent opportunity for a practice accountant looking for their next challenge.

As Accounts Senior, your responsibilities will include:

- Preparing and reviewing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies

- Preparing personal and corporate tax returns

- Completing and reviewing VAT returns and bookkeeping assignments

- Managing a portfolio of clients and acting as a key point of contact

- Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team

- Working closely with Managers and Partners to ensure work is delivered accurately and within agreed deadlines

The successful Accounts Senior candidate will:

Have previous experience gained within an accountancy practice and be confident managing a varied portfolio of clients across accounts and tax.

ACA or ACCA qualifications would be advantageous, although applications are welcomed from part-qualified and qualified-by-experience candidates. You'll be a strong communicator, well organised and comfortable balancing technical work with regular client interaction.
