Client Bookkeeper - Bournemouth - £28,000 - £35,000

Good bookkeeping is not only about accuracy, organisation and reliability, it's also about building relationships with the people behind the numbers. This role offers the opportunity for an experienced Client Bookkeeper to do exactly that.

Trial Balance are delighted to be working with a well-established accountancy practice in Bournemouth, who are looking to recruit an experienced Client Bookkeeper to join their team. This is a varied role, working with a portfolio of clients and supporting them with their on-going bookkeeping and VAT requirements.

As a Client Bookkeeper, your responsibilities will include:

- Maintaining accurate bookkeeping records for a portfolio of clients

- Preparing and submitting VAT returns

- Keeping client accounts up-to-date and ensuring records are maintained accurately

- Liaising with clients regarding bookkeeping and VAT queries

- Working with clients across a range of industries and businesses

- Supporting the wider practice team with bookkeeping and accounting requirements as needed

The successful Client Bookkeeper candidate will:

Have previous experience in a bookkeeping role within an accountancy practice.

Experience using Xero and QuickBooks is important, alongside a good understanding of bookkeeping processes and VAT. You'll be organised, accurate and confident communicating directly with clients.
