Trial Balance are currently working with a number of well-established accountancy practices across Somerset, many of whom are keen to speak with experienced qualified accountants looking for part-time opportunities. With many being happy to offer flexibility around working hours and hybrid working for the right individual.

We're particularly interested in speaking with qualified accountants who enjoy working closely with clients and are confident managing accounts and tax work for a varied portfolio.

Typical responsibilities may include:

- Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts

- Corporation and personal tax compliance

- Reviewing VAT returns and bookkeeping work

- Managing client relationships and providing practical business advice

- Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team

- Working closely with Partners on ad-hoc projects where required

We're keen to hear from ACA or ACCA qualified accountants, or those qualified by experience, with a strong background in accountancy practice.

Whether you've previously managed your own client portfolio, worked at Manager level, or even owned your own practice, we'd be interested in having a confidential conversation about the opportunities available.
