Trial Balance are delighted to be working with a highly respected and ambitious accountancy practice as they continue their expansion with the launch of a new Bath office. They're now looking to recruit an experienced Audit and Accounts Senior to become an integral part of this exciting new chapter.

This is a varied role, offering an excellent balance of audit and accounts work, alongside the opportunity to build strong client relationships, mentor junior colleagues and work closely with an experienced leadership team.

The role will be primarily based in Bath, with hybrid working available. There will also be occasional travel to the firm's head office, typically once or twice each month.

As an Audit and Accounts Senior, your responsibilities will include:

- Preparing statutory and management accounts for a varied portfolio of clients

- Planning and delivering audit assignments from planning through to completion

- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted point of contact

- Reviewing work completed by junior members of the team and providing ongoing support and guidance

- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and add value for clients

- Working closely with Managers and Partners to ensure assignments are completed to a high standard and within agreed deadlines

The successful Audit and Accounts Senior candidate will:

- Be ACA or ACCA qualified

- Have previous experience working within an accountancy practice

- Be confident across both audit and accounts preparation

- Enjoy building long-term client relationships

- Be proactive, commercially aware and keen to contribute to the continued growth of the Bath office
