Accounts Technician - Yeovil - £30,000 - £38,000

This well-established Yeovil practice is looking to recruit an Accounts Technician to join its friendly and experienced team. Offering a varied workload, excellent support and genuine opportunities for career progression, this is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to continue developing their career within accountancy practice.

Key responsibilities of this Accounts Technician role to include:

- Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies

- Preparing VAT returns and completing bookkeeping assignments

- Assisting with the preparation of personal and corporate tax returns

- Preparing management accounts where required

- Working closely with clients, responding to day-to-day queries and building strong working relationships

- Supporting senior members of the team with a variety of accounting assignments

You'll be a great fit if you:

- Have previous experience working within an accountancy practice

- Are confident preparing accounts for a varied portfolio of clients

- Are AAT qualified or studying towards ACA or ACCA (although qualified by experience candidates are also encouraged to apply)

- Enjoy working as part of a collaborative team and delivering excellent client service
