A well-established and growing accountancy practice in Crediton is looking to recruit an Accounts Technician to join its friendly and collaborative team. Offered on a full-time and permanent basis, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

-Managing a varied portfolio of clients, including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies

-Supporting the preparation of year-end accounts and financial statements

-Assisting with personal and corporate tax returns

-Preparing VAT returns and carrying out bookkeeping duties

-Building strong client relationships and providing day-to-day accounting support

- Working closely with senior team members to deliver an efficient and high-quality service

This opportunity would suit an ambitious Accounts Technician with previous experience gained within an accountancy practice. Whether you've already started your AAT, ACA or ACCA studies or are looking to begin your professional qualifications, you'll be joining a firm that actively supports career progression and ongoing development.

Experience using cloud-based accounting software, such as Xero or QuickBooks would be advantageous, although a willingness to learn and develop is equally important.
