Accounts Technician - Plymouth - £24,000 - £30,000 DOE

Trial Balance are working with a Plymouth-based accountancy practice, who are looking to employ a new team member due to increased demand from their clients. Offered on a full-time and permanent basis, your duties in this role will include:

- Working with a varied portfolio of clients, including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies

- Assisting with year-end accounts preparation

- Assisting with the preparation of tax returns

- VAT and bookkeeping

This role would suit an AAT qualified candidate or similar, though this client is happy to consider applicants who haven’t undergone formal qualifications. Previous experience in accountancy practice is essential due to the technical nature of the role, and it would be beneficial if you have strong experience in cloud-based accountancy software.
