Part Time Charity Finance Manager

Trial Balance Consulting are delighted to have been engaged by a recognised, highly regarded and extremely friendly arts charity who seek to recruit a part time Finance Manager. The role is offered on a permanent, part time basis with fully flexible working patterns that will likely equate to a 3-day working week (can be split over 4 or 5 shorter days to suit the successful candidate). 

The charity has two key income streams and benefits from well set up financial controls using QuickBooks software. The successful candidate will take a lead role in ensuring an efficient day-to-day accounting lifecycle to include invoice management, banking, budget control and forecasting, management accounting, cash management, VAT, tax computations and payroll. The role will sit on the senior management team and report directly to the CEO and directors. 

Our client is motivated to source an experienced, qualified individual (AAT or professionally qualified ACA/ACCA). The role would be particularly well suited to a candidate with either hospitality or charity-based finance experience although they are taking an open mind on that. The post holder will work within an extremely passionate and energetic team that care deeply for the success of the charity, and it is crucial that the successful candidate also shares these values!
