Finance Assistant - Truro - £18-21,000

Trial Balance Consulting are delighted to have been exclusively assigned by another recruitment services business that seek to recruit an internal Finance Assistant to join their team. The role works within a small and fast paced function and works closely with an experienced Finance Manager and other department heads in the UK and Europe. This is a permanent position which is immediately vacant. 

This will be a broad role and an ideal opportunity for a candidate with 1-2 years’ experience that would relish the opportunity to learn more. Key responsibilities of the role to include: 

- Purchase ledger to include inputting invoices to accounting system and making supplier payments

- Sales ledger to include timesheet collation and customer invoicing

- Bank reconciliations

- Working with multiple currencies (Sterling, Euro and US Dollar)

- Credit Control

We’re looking for a candidate with good ledger experience, either qualified by experience or part/fully AAT. The company uses a bespoke cloud-based accounting platform where full training will be provided, but general IT adaptability and a good understanding of MS Excel will be essential. Candidates who possess additional language skills, namely Mandarin or German and particularly welcome to apply.
