Finance Manager

We’re looking for a Finance Manager who will, working closely with the Managing Director, take lead responsibility in all aspects of the SME accounting lifecycle. It’s a standalone position that will be well supported by an experienced management team but allow the successful candidate autonomy to shape their function. We’re looking for an outgoing, personable and of course, knowledgeable individual with the skills to take a lead role in a growing business of this size. A manufacturing or construction-based background would be fantastic though by no means essential. You’ll need a flexible attitude to the work; one day working with chartered accountants to compile a set of management accounts, the next getting stuck into the day to day. Good knowledge of modern accounting systems would also be a distinct benefit. The role would be equally suited to a candidate with full AAT or appropriate experience to call themselves QBE. Typical duties to include: 

- Month & year end accounting procedures

- Management of accounts payable & receivable 

- Production of accurate and informative management accounts/reports

- Payroll

- Maintenance of fixed asset register

- Financial forecasting

- Cash flow projections 

- VAT reporting

- Manage all finance agreements

- Credit control and debt management
