Temporary Finance Administrator - £14.00 - £15.00 per hour - Full or Part Time - Initial 3 Month Contract with Potential for Extension

We are seeking a reliable and adaptable Finance Administrator to join our client on a temporary basis. This is a varied role that would suit someone with broad finance experience who enjoys supporting different areas of the finance function and is happy to get involved wherever needed.

Working as part of a friendly team, you'll provide support across payroll, stock accounting, fixed assets and general finance administration. The successful candidate will be practical, organised and possess a positive, can-do attitude, with the ability to pick up new processes quickly and work confidently across multiple tasks.

Key responsibilites will include -

* Supporting payroll processing and related administration

* Assisting with stock and inventory-related finance activities

* Maintaining fixed asset records and supporting asset administration

* Processing financial data accurately and efficiently

* Supporting the wider finance team with day-to-day administrative tasks

* Assisting with reconciliations and general finance housekeeping

* Providing ad hoc support across the department as required

The successful candidate will have previous experience within a finance, accounts or finance administration role and be comfortable working across a variety of responsibilities rather than specialising in one area. You'll be organised, detail-oriented and proactive, with strong Excel and IT skills and the ability to manage competing priorities. Experience of payroll would be beneficial, but we're equally interested in candidates with broader finance experience who can quickly pick up new processes and support different areas of the function.

This role is less about specialist technical expertise and more about finding someone with a practical, common-sense approach and the confidence to get involved wherever needed. We're looking for a reliable team player who can provide effective support across payroll, stock, fixed assets and general finance administration, becoming a valued member of the department from day one.

You should be capable of working to deadlines in a busy environment. Knowledge of UK payroll legislation and HMRC requirements would be advantageous, as would experience using payroll software such as MorePay or time and attendance systems such as Kronos, although neither is essential.

Please apply ASAP to Elle Benjamin quoting reference EB11279.
