Accounts Administrator - Full Time - Permanent - Exeter - £30,000

I’m currently recruiting for an Accounts Administrator on behalf of a well?established and market?leading business based in Exeter. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small, friendly and dynamic finance team in a varied, hands?on role covering daily financial reporting, reconciliations, credit control support and wider office administration.

This position will suit someone who enjoys working methodically, maintaining accurate records and taking ownership of their workload across several systems. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the day?to?day running of the finance function while gaining exposure to sales and purchase ledger processes, month?end routines and customer/supplier communication.

Key responsibilities will include:

* Running daily financial reports and checking data accuracy

* Reconciling daily sales and processing through Sage

* Supporting credit control with debt collection and payment allocation

* Month?end sales?ledger reconciliation and issuing customer statements

* Assisting purchase ledger with supplier invoice processing

* Maintaining customer and supplier relationships

* Processing interbranch stock transfers

* General office administration including calls, emails and correspondence

* Supporting management with wider office functions

We’re keen to speak with Administrators, Accounts Administrators or Finance Assistants with previous experience in administrative or finance?support roles. Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills and confidence using MS Office (particularly Excel) are essential. Experience using Sage would be advantageous, although full training will be provided.
