Temporary Finance Manager - Falmouth 

Trial Balance Consulting are seeking an experienced Temporary Finance Manager to join a well-established Cornish business for an urgent 2–3 month assignment.

This is an immediate requirement, providing essential cover while the business awaits the arrival of its new permanent member of the team. The successful candidate will take responsibility for several key areas of the finance function, ensuring everything continues to run smoothly during the interim period.

Key responsibilities will include:

* Running the monthly payroll

* Preparing monthly management accounts

* Overseeing the purchase ledger and ensuring it remains accurate and up to date

* Supporting the wider finance team with general financial management as required

The successful candidate will be an experienced Finance Manager, Management Accountant or Financial Controller who can quickly get up to speed and work confidently with minimal supervision. Previous payroll and management accounts experience is essential, together with a practical, hands-on approach.

The role is available to start immediately and is expected to run for approximately 2–3 months. It will be based on-site in Falmouth.
