Finance Manager - Penryn - £40,000-£45,000

We're working exclusively with a well-established and highly successful Cornish business to recruit a Finance Manager who enjoys being involved in the bigger picture as much as the numbers. This is a varied, hands-on role offering real influence across the organisation, working closely with senior management to support commercial decision making and drive performance.

This opportunity would suit someone who enjoys partnering with operational teams, improving reporting, and identifying ways to add value rather than simply producing month-end accounts.

Key responsibilities include:

* Production of monthly management accounts and financial reporting

* Budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management

*Variance analysis with meaningful commercial commentary

* Developing KPI reporting and management information

* Supporting senior leadership with financial planning and decision making

* Business partnering across operational departments

* Identifying opportunities to improve processes and financial performance

* Supporting year-end preparation and external accountants where required

* Contributing to ongoing systems and reporting improvements

We're keen to hear from experienced Finance Managers, Management Accountants or commercially minded Finance Business Partners. Applications are welcomed from qualified (ACCA/CIMA), part-qualified or qualified by experience candidates who possess strong management accounting skills and the confidence to build relationships across the business.

Previous experience in a commercial environment would be advantageous, together with excellent Excel and systems skills.
