Trial Balance Consulting are delighted to be recruiting a Purchase Ledger Assistant for a global market leader in Falmouth. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive, inclusive finance team within a world-class group known for innovation and excellence.

Working closely with the Purchase Ledger Manager, your responsibilities will include:

- Supporting the day-to-day running of the purchase ledger function

- Matching supplier invoices to purchase orders and maintaining ledger accuracy

- Assisting with preparation of payment runs

- Completing monthly reconciliations and contributing to month-end reporting

- Managing the team inbox, maintaining accurate records, and liaising with internal/external stakeholders

- Supporting continuous improvement of processes and internal controls

- Providing additional support across the finance team as required

The ideal candidate will:

- Have prior purchase ledger experience within a busy finance function

- Communicate clearly and build strong stakeholder relationships

- Be organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple deadlines

- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

- Bring excellent IT capability, including solid Excel skills and ideally Microsoft Dynamics AX
