Finance Assistant - Chard - Permanent - £23k-£25k
Trial Balance Consulting have been reengaged by a long standing client, a professional services company based in Chard with multiple sites across the Somerset area. Due to a long standing member of staff hanging up their calculator my client is looking for a suitable replacement on a permanent and full or part time basis. This role forms part of a busy accounting function and reports directly to the Finance and Administration Manager. This is an interesting and varied position with duties that will include:
- Weekly and and monthly reporting
- VAT returns quarterly
- Bank reconciliations
- Credit control
- Purchase and Sales ledger
- Supporting the wider finance and administration team

Who I am looking for:
The ideal candidate will have at least 18 months of accounting experience and a good working knowledge of SAGE Accounts. If you are someone who likes to bury themselves in invoices and spreadsheets without speaking to another sole, this role is probably not going to be for you. My client is looking for a friendly, outgoing individual who is comfortable working with other members of their team as well as frequently liaising with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
