Accounts Assistant (commercial ACA/ACCA trainee) - Exeter - £: Negotiable DOE
If you’re an ambitious trainee accountant, either a finance graduate or currently studying towards a professional qualification with 1-2 year’s experience, and want to gain a professional qualification in a commercial environment, you’d do well to read on. Unlike most accountancy training contracts in the southwest, this unique opportunity will allow the successful candidate to gain their ACA or ACCA qualification outside of practice, with a business that can deliver long term career prospects.
Trial Balance Consulting have been assigned by a highly successful professional services business that provide specialist financial support to their clients. The business has a history of international success in their field and a highly regarded reputation for employee development and retention.
They currently seek to recruit a dynamic, outgoing trainee who will initially join them as Accounts Assistant but undergo ongoing professional training and development. It’s a broad role that will see the successful candidate undertaking a wide range of duties, from invoice processing, assisting in the preparation of management accounts, and regular liaison with clients.
What we’re searching for: A graduate, or a candidate with 1-2 year’s experience who is currently studying towards ACA, ACCA or CIMA (either in accountancy practice or commerce). You’ll need good IT skills, particularly MS Office, and possess a strong aptitude for picking up bespoke accounting platforms. The role will require excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to converse with external stakeholders at all levels. Our client operates a busy, highly professional office but with fantastic camaraderie headed up by a very experienced management team.
