Accounts Manager - Falmouth, Cornwall – Full Time – Hybrid working – Up to 12-month contract – £32k - £35k

Accounts Manager opportunity offering a unique blend of financial reporting, operational involvement, and a genuinely varied role within a well-established organisation. This Accounts Manager role is closely aligned to a Management Accountant position, offering excellent exposure across both reporting and business support.

Trial Balance Consulting are pleased to be working with a highly regarded business near Falmouth to recruit an Accounts Manager on a contract basis. This Accounts Manager position is offered on an initial contract of up to 12 months, with the potential for extension or a permanent opportunity.

This Accounts Manager / Management Accountant role will suit a qualified Accountant or experienced finance professional looking for a hands on position that combines financial reporting with operational support.

Working closely with both the Group Financial Controller and onsite leadership team, the Accounts Manager will take responsibility for day to day finance operations while supporting wider business performance.

Key responsibilities of the Accounts Manager will include:

- Preparation of monthly management accounts and P&L reporting

- Processing invoices, expenses, and maintaining accurate financial records

- Supplier statement reconciliations and month end journals

- Supporting payroll processes including starters, leavers, and pensions

- Managing day to day accounts office activities

- Producing and interpreting financial reports to support operational teams

- Ensuring strong financial controls and best practice across the business

- Supporting and coaching non finance colleagues where required

We are seeking an Accounts Manager / Management Accountant with strong experience in management accounts, financial reporting, and general finance operations. Experience working in a fast paced, operational environment would be highly beneficial.

The successful Accounts Manager will be confident working in a people focused environment, with strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the business.

This Accounts Manager role offers hybrid working, alongside the opportunity to be part of a collaborative onsite team within a unique and highly regarded Cornish business.
