Management Accountant - St Austell - Full time - Hybrid - Permanent - Excellent Benefits

Trial Balance Consulting are pleased to be working with a well-established and purpose driven organisation based in St Austell to recruit a Management Accountant on a permanent, full-time basis. This is a varied and influential role within a busy finance team, offering the opportunity to support meaningful work while developing strong management accounting and business partnering experience.

The role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with a mix of office based and remote working once established. This is not a fully remote position, but there is flexibility around where work is completed to support a healthy work life balance.

The position will suit a Management Accountant who enjoys producing high quality financial information and working closely with non-finance stakeholders to support informed decision making. You’ll be involved across reporting, budgeting, and planning, with scope to contribute to process improvement and longer-term financial projects.

Key responsibilities include:

- Preparation of monthly management accounts, cashflow reports, and financial commentary

- Supporting year end audit processes, statutory accounts, and regulatory reporting

- Assisting with budget preparation, business planning, and financial modelling

- Monitoring financial performance and highlighting risks and opportunities

- Supporting managers and senior stakeholders with financial insight and analysis

- Contributing to improvements in systems, processes, and financial controls

We’re seeking a part qualified or qualified accountant, though applications are also welcomed from AAT qualified and suitably qualified by experience candidates. Strong experience in management accounting, budgeting, and cashflow reporting is essential, alongside good Excel skills, attention to detail, and the confidence to communicate financial information clearly.

This is a great opportunity to join a values led organisation offering a supportive working culture, strong benefits package, and a genuine commitment to employee development and wellbeing.
