Trial Balance Consulting are delighted to be working exclusively with a well-regarded organisation within the education sector to recruit a Part Time Finance Manager. Having partnered with this client previously, we know they offer a friendly, supportive culture in a truly beautiful working environment just outside Truro, with plenty of free parking and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

This is a genuinely hands on finance role, ideal for someone who enjoys being involved in the day to day detail while also helping to keep the finance function running smoothly. The organisation is open minded about what the 20 hours could look like from the outset and there is a degree of flexibility built into the role once in post.

Key responsibilities include:

- Day to day running of the finance function

- Producing management accounts, budgets and basic forecasts

- Managing cashflow, payroll and supplier payments

- Maintaining accurate financial records and controls

- Acting as the main point of contact for finance queries across the organisation

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager who is comfortable working independently, enjoys being hands on, and is looking for a part time position within a positive and supportive environment. Experience within the education sector would be beneficial but is by no means essential.
