Finance Manager - Penryn - £45k- £50k - Full Time - Permanent

Trial Balance Consulting are delighted to have been exclusively engaged by a long standing and highly respected local business to recruit a Finance Manager who will lead a small but capable finance team. This is a hands on role that would suit an experienced accounting professional who enjoys combining leadership responsibilities with day to day financial operations. You will play a key part in shaping processes, supporting colleagues across the business, and ensuring the finance function continues to develop effectively.

Key responsibilities include:

- Managing and mentoring a small finance team

- Overseeing all daily accounting activities including bookkeeping, reconciliations and reporting

- Leading month end and year end processes

- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies

- Working closely with other departments to provide meaningful financial insight

- Helping to maintain a collaborative and professional working culture

We are seeking an individual with strong all round accounting experience, ideally qualified to at least AAT Level 4, who has previously supervised or developed finance staff. Excellent communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to build strong working relationships will be essential.
