My client is a very successful firm of accountants and operate a full outsourced accounting service for a varied portfolio of clients. The role that they are looking to recruit is for a bookkeeper to manage the day-to-day accounting and payroll service line.

Working with a busy and sociable team, your duties will include management accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, management reporting and VAT return preparation for a diverse client portfolio.

Previous experience of fast-paced bookkeeping and payroll work, ideally within a practice environment, is essential to be successful in this role. Applicants should be either AAT qualified or qualified by experience, and exposure to cloud-based software such as Xero, Dext and Taxcalc would be highly beneficial.
