Finance Manager - Street - Circa: £35,000 Negotiable DOE & PQE
If you’re a skilled Finance Manager who understands the importance of laying solid foundations and doesn’t want to be just another brick in the wall, we’re working with a hugely successful and expanding building contractor based in Street. A family run business for over 100 years, the business has been responsible for the completion of some amazing projects across the southwest. With quality and attention to detail at the heart of everything they do, they’re not your average builder selecting just a few large scale projects each year...
Due to continued expansion, they’ve tasked us with finding an exceptional Finance Manager to join their growing team. It’s a pivotal role that supports the Finance Director and manages a small finance team. The role is multifaceted where no two days are likely to be the same. If you’re feeling disillusioned with the monotony of your current role, this is a great opportunity to assume responsibility for a huge range of new duties whilst enhancing the old.
You’ll need to be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with some solid supervisory experience behind you, and understand the practical elements of managing a complete finance lifecycle, particularly the preparation of monthly management accounts and reports. An understanding of the construction sector and/or CIS knowledge would be hugely desirable (we’ll seriously consider an experienced QBE in this case), but not necessarily an essential for those who strongly believe in their transferable skills.
They’re a friendly and relaxed team, but with a great work ethic which has helped them to achieve an enviable reputation within their sector. This is a first class opportunity for an experienced yet up-coming Finance Manager to really take a step up. Initial salary circa £35,000 but with scope for negotiation dependent on skills, experience and qualification status. We’re not working to a closing date on this assignment, the employer wants to receive CVs and interview suitable applicants asap so please apply without delay. Contact Dan Saunders quoting reference DS4736 for full details and to apply.
