Trial Balance Consulting have been assigned by a thriving firm of Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors based in Bridgend. The firm is in many ways the polar opposite of a ‘grey-suited’ firm and will be particularly well suited to a candidate seeking a dynamic and modern working environment, with a friendly and innovative team.

The practice currently seeks to recruit a candidate with at least 12 months of prior experience and ideally, though not essentially, having commenced AAT studies (the firm will support this moving forwards). Please note that unfortunately we will be unable to consider applicants who do not possess this core experience gained within the profession.

The successful candidate will offer forward thinking compliance services and advice to a wide range of clients, from start-up sole trader to established limited companies (trading below the audit threshold). The candidate will possess a basic working knowledge of:

• Accounts preparation
• VAT calculations and submissions
• Basic personal tax computations
• Basic exposure to company taxation advantageous (not essential)
• Client bookkeeping and payroll advantageous (not essential)
• A working knowledge of the practice lifecycle and billable time

In return our client offers a unique, fast based working environment with a healthy social balance. The firm is growing rapidly and opportunities to progress are available to those that seek it.

Please be aware that applicants who have not previously worked within accountancy practice will not be considered, not because we are mean, but because this is a genuinely essential requirement for the role.

If you are interested in hearing more about this role (CK4210), or any others I have available in your local area then please get in touch and ask to speak to Carly Kellow.
