Trial Balance Consulting have been assigned by a well established, forward thinking and rapidly expanding firm of Chartered Accountants. With a prestigious portfolio of clients the firm is looking towards continued growth.

They currently seek to recruit an Accounts Junior to join their friendly team in Stroud. Please note that to be considered for this role, candidates MUST possess recent experience gained within experience in accountancy practice. Unfortunately we will be unable to consider candidates who do not have this relevant experience.

The ideal candidate will likely be part or recently qualified AAT, although candidates who have yet to commence studies but do have practice-based exposure will be given serious consideration. The firm is a training provider and will support part qualified candidates throughout.

The role will predominantly entail accounts preparation, often from incomplete records, for a variety of clients operating across a range of sectors and with all legal structures. The post holder will also take an active role in the preparation of personal tax returns for sole traders and partnerships, with some exposure to corporate tax for incorporated businesses. Other duties to include VAT computations, bookkeeping, payroll and general administration.

This would be an excellent opportunity for a candidate with limited sector experience, who seeks a long term career with a modern and supportive practice.
