Interim FP&A Manager - St. Austell / Remote - Circa: £60,000 Negotiable depending on experience
Trial Balance Consulting have been exclusively engaged by one of our longest standing clients, one of Cornwall’s most notable and highly regarded employers. The organisation has experienced significant growth and following a large scale restructure of the finance function (no redundancies!), now seeks to recruit an experienced FP&A Manager to join the senior management team. The role will initially be offered as a 4-6 month fixed term contract but with very reasonable potential to become permanent. The post is full time and the business operates a hybrid working model with 2-3 days office based and the remainder remote.
Working closely with the CFO and Group FC, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the ongoing expansion of the business through commercial finance decision making and reporting. Key responsibilities to include:
- Work with senior management team both in and out of finance to develop the company’s long-term strategic plan
- Collate and develop budgets and forecasts
- Produce growth projections
- Financial and operational analysis
- Commentate to SMT on company performance
- Support new investment strategies through financial reporting
- Financial modelling, forecasts and profitability
For this role we seek a professionally qualified individual (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), with significant experience gained in a highly analytical role, with a good understanding of BI and reporting tools. The role calls for a candidate with a high level of commercial acumen and excellent general IT aptitude. The role works with a very passionate, energetic and experienced team that have developed the function through team work and strong communication skills - likeminded skills required from the successful candidate!
