Interim Financial Accountant - Exeter / Remote - £44,000 FTE

Trial Balance Consulting have been engaged by a long standing and highly reputable services organisation who urgently seek to recruit an interim Financial Accountant to assist them during a busy period of their financial year. The contract is to commence immediately and will likely run until the end of May 2022. This is a full time role that can be operated on a hybrid working basis with two days based in the employers Exeter based offices and three days remote. 

This will be a senior position within the organisation and the successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Finance to lead the year end process. Key responsibilities to include: 

- Lead the delivery of year end statutory accounts

- Cash flow reporting and forecasting

- Ensure accurate and up to date control accounts 

- Design and implement internal controls for an efficient external audit

For this contract we seek an experienced, professionally qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), Financial Accountant with recent exposure gained in the preparation of statutory accounts. The successful candidate must have up to date knowledge of general reporting standards and be highly competent in manipulating complex financial date using MS Excel.
