My client, a charitable organisation with offices in Redruth, is now looking to add to its finance team with the recruitment of a Claims and Finance Officer. The key purpose of this role will be to compile and prepare monthly and quarterly claims for the various projects that fund the charity’s activities. 

You will compile evidence from timesheets, invoices and other sources to complete claims from European funded projects, meeting the deadline set by the funding partners. You will also work with the Finance Worker with inputting and monitoring accounting information using Xero.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience of compiling similar claims, and general finance office processes.
  • A high level of attention to detail and experience of working in a finance environment.
  • Strong time management and administration skills, in addition to finance skills.
  • Excellent systems skills, to include Excel and ideally Xero also.

This role is offered on a part time basis for 22.5 hours per week, with some element of home working. This is a fixed term contract for an initial period of 12 months with a possible extension subject to funding.
